Cross Market Street along from the City Art Centre and turn left, going under the large decorated Bridge. Bear right into Jeffrey Street past Jury's Inn Hotel to the junction (traffic lights) with High Street. From the M9 follow Edinburgh City Centre signs, through the underpass to the Maybury. Come in past PC World (on right) and the Zoo (left) - stay off the Bus Lanes! Shortly after passing Haymarket Station on your right, go straight ahead at the next junctions, soon passing a Church (tall steeple) on the left and lots of shops both sides (incl. Habitat on the left). Turn right at the next junction (Fraser's store left) into Lothian Road.

Turn left at the 3rd set of lights into Bread Street, then go straight ahead down West Port through the Grassmarket.
